Architecture

The Lookout Telluride rests on a unique site, a guest of its spectacular setting. The spaces view directly into Telluride’s Box Canyon, towards Wilson Peak and back to the San Sophia Ridgeline. Surrounded by deeded open space, the property feels larger than its 6-acre setting.

Constructed of Rocky Mountain Quartzite, Shou Sugi Ban siding, Douglas Fir structure and polished concrete floors, the materials travel inside to out and welcome the varied climatic conditions that the San Juans offer.

History

The Lookout Telluride sits within Aldasoro Ranch, a 1,500+ acre community that was formerly a sheep ranch.

The Lookout Telluride lot is the only Aldasoro Ranch property located south of Airport Road, adding to the property’s privacy. At 8,900 feet, it is at Aldasoro Ranch’s lowest elevation. The sun-drenched, south-facing property is surrounded by deeded open space and overlooks spectacular views of the surrounding terrain. It is typically the first property to be snow-free when the weather warms.
